Solar Eclipse 2017

Alignment and Refocusing

This Solar Eclipse is set to happen on August 21st, 2017. The last Solar Eclipse over America was May 20, 2012. I had the amazing opportunity to see that one from Griffith Observatory. It was easily over 3,000 people that showed up there and it was definitely fun to watch and meet others like myself. This eclipse has alot of ominous signs around it, some stem from just intuition and others come from the Bible. (I'm no holy roller, but when an old book talks about astrology, my ears kinda perk).

This eclipse is happening in the sign of Leo which rules the 5th House of Pleasure. But at the same time, there is another alignment happening in our skies. Virgo Virgin has Jupiter moving into her womb, with the moon at her feet and twelve stars above her head. My intuition speaks on this subject that it is time for us to begin sowing the seeds of good things. Much like a woman carries first the idea of a child, then takes action to create the child, then holds the child in her womb the same way as the idea but manifested, but still not yet visible. Around these events, it is time to regain control of our mental focus and awareness that has been hijacked by negative situations, outcomes, television, social media and thought forms.

I use to despise going on Facebook, then I started going on Twitter. I left Facebook because I felt like it was pushing news and negativity at me. Then Twitter started doing the same thing and now I try to avoid hitting that Trend Search icon when I do log in. It's almost like I am being herded into the same train of thought and habits as everyone else. Groupthink. It's dangerous. Social Media was supposed to be a pleasurable thing (that 5th House again), but it has isolated us so much. No more one on one interactions, no more conversations, just texts and racing for social media celebrity status. Social Media has served it purpose and we have to take the good with the bad. It has helped us to be heard by deaf and blind corporations that think we all want the same things. We have made some changes, but we also have to limit our exposure to social media, just like TV used to do. TV would go to bed, now its up and on all night and social media has no bedtime. We have to make time for quiet and positive awareness and thinking on our own. No one is going to turn everything off for us.

We take pleasure in reaping benefits from actions we took a long time ago. Leo ruling the 5th House and the lack of pleasure(everyone seems to be displeased with everything, including themselves) at the current state of our planet and this alignment is telling us we have to refocus.

If you look at the Solar Eclipse and the sun is the lens and the moon is the filter, we are just illuminating things differently once it is over. Almost like a reset. Utilize this reset in your own way. Begin using that imagination to begin creating more beautiful outcomes for yourself and our WORLD.

Do you feel that?

A few days ago I ran across a youtube comment and it went something like this: "Is anyone else feeling tension in the neck, back and upper shoulders?" I have been feeling it. It's called pressure. To be a little more specific, this pressure is in the Occipital Lobe (Mouth of God Chakra, Zeal Chakra,Well of Dreams), the Rhomboid Minor and Major around the upper spine.

The Occipital Lobe

This lobe is at the base of the skull. It is our well of dreams. This chakra is coming online for many of us. When this chakra tries to awaken too quickly, pressure builds up, stress from not creating what we want causes blockages as well. With negative beliefs programmed within us on many different subjects, this chakra opens up and begins creating these things in our lives. We have to control it and protect it. The color of this chakra is in the magenta range. Sugilite, Rhodochrosite and other hot pinkish to deep-purplish crystals resonate with this chakra.

The Shoulders

If you visit Ravenstarhealingroom.wordpress.com You will find a list of metaphysical reasons for physical pain. These I believe to be true. I went through my own form of diagnosis by placing Sugilite directly on the painful area and then listening. It began to pulsate and I knew intuitively it's coming from stress. Sometimes these painful manifestations in our bodies do not always have to be ours. Sensitives, like myself, pick up other people's pain and the exact emotions that contribute to that pain. We have to ground or we begin to carry them ourselves. Anything dealing with the back is "our past" and either shame or guilt associated with that time in our lives. Either looping through the same lessons again or ignoring them all together.

As the theme of this Solar Eclipse continues, we watch as America faces it's own past. As a separate entity, it must come to terms with how it was built and who contributed the most. The disrespect of others has brought this country to it's moral knees and it's time we get back up. Dust ourselves off and start over. This eclipse will illuminate everything in the shadows and force us to look at it and do something about it. Same in our own personal lives. Depending on what planets are in your 5th House, the solar eclipse can reset your house in a sense, then re-illuminate it. Relationships may come to an end, situations may change and it can all be sudden or be shown to you over the course of the next 3 weeks.
The fact that Mercury is Retrograde during this Solar Eclipse brings to mind the "past" again. Moving backwards through time and space, we can look back with 20/20 vision and see where we made mistakes (as individuals and as a nation). The time is now to work tirelessly to correct what we can and forgive what we cannot change.

Crystals that I find helpful during these tough times are the soothing stones: Chrysocolla, Aquamarine, Amazonite, Blue Lace Agate(short term).

Crystals that I find helpful with grounding: Smoky Quartz, Shungite, Black Tourmaline. (Grounding Stones are best worn low on the body, 30-36 inch chains)

Locations

There are viewing parties going on at all observatories and a large range of libraries all across America. These locations are known to have large quantities of Solar Eclipse glasses. Usually the Observatory sells them if you get there early! Once the eclipse starts, eclipse glasses are like gold! The live feed of the Solar Eclipse will be on your local NBC channel. They are calling it: The Great American Eclipse. I'll be recording it on tv and watching from my front yard. Being in Southern California I will not see an entire total eclipse. Carry Tibetan Tektite tomorrow and you might have some "extraterrestrial experiences". I know I will.
